Job summary

A healthcare provider in Aberdeenshire is looking for a Specialist Pharmacist to join their Pharmacotherapy teams. Job description

Specialist Pharmacist Primary Care

Band 7

We have opportunities available within Aberdeenshire, including Banff, Kincardine & Mearns, and Marr clusters.

Full Time/Part Time Opportunities (minimum 3 days), Monday to Friday

Join our Pharmacotherapy teams working across Aberdeenshire to support the ongoing provision of the pharmacotherapy service and promote quality, cost-effective prescribing of medicines.

The post involves supporting GP practices and community hospitals, covering all aspects of medicines management in line with local and national guidelines.

Applicants may have a community or hospital pharmacy background. Good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills are essential. Experience in Primary Care, medicines management, and audits would be advantageous.

Independent Prescriber training will be supported if not already achieved.

Postholders will work across a wide area, involving onsite work in GP Practices and remote work from an agreed base. Bases and areas of work will be discussed at interview. A full driving license is essential.
