Overview

Responsibilities
  • Teach English as a second language classes to groups of 12-15 students.
  • As needed, teach a variety of classes, including EAP, IELTS, Cambridge testing, business English, ESP, private classes, or closed groups.
  • Plan lessons to meet the needs of the individuals in your class, considering student feedback and performance on weekly progress tests.
  • Use Bayswater online portals to complete daily attendance, plan lessons, and assign homework.
  • Deliver and evaluate weekly assessments.
  • Participate in teacher meetings and professional development sessions.
  • Submit timesheets and follow all policies and procedures in the Teacher Handbook.
Knowledge, Qualifications, And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Valid TESL/TESOL/CELTA Certificate
  • Experience teaching English to international students
  • Experience of using technology in the classroom
  • Experience teaching exam preparation, business English, EAP, young learners (Cambridge Delta or Trinity Dip TESOL or equivalent (TEFL-Q status) is desirable
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment and collaborate with others
  • Commitment to delivering high quality lessons
