  • Monitor daily operations, respond promptly to abnormalities, and take corrective action when needed.
  • Manage effluent plant personnel, including training, scheduling, performance reviews, and discipline.
  • Perform routine analyses and sampling to track process performance and make data-informed decisions.
  • Develop and control the annual budget for the effluent treatment plant, optimising for cost-efficiency while retaining compliance.
  • Maintain records and reports related to operational parameters, compliance, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to oversee repairs, calibrations, and preventative maintenance schedules.
The Person

We are seeking an individual with a 3rd level qualification in Chemical, Environmental or Process Engineering (or equivalent discipline) and substantial experience of effluent treatment operations in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be a confident leader with strong team-management skills, working knowledge of environmental regulations, excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, and the capacity to create and implement effective solutions.
