Are you a Band 5 Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum role in Central London? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and an immediate start!

Job Details

• Job Title: Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)
• Location: Central London (next to major train station)
• Service: NHS Hospital
• Duration: 4-8 weeks
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Start Date: ASAP, May 2025
• End Date: 4-8 weeks from start date
• Pay Rate: £20 - £22 per hour (PAYE via Direct Engagement)

Responsibilities

• Carry out medicines reconciliation on hospital wards
• Support accurate and timely medication supply
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to support patient discharges
• Ensure patient records and medication documentation are up to date
• Contribute to medicines optimisation and safe practice across the ward

Requirements & Qualifications

• Prior NHS ward-based experience in a similar MMT role
• A current and valid pharmacy technician registration with the GPhC
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and safety

Working Hours & Contract Duration

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. The initial contract is for 4-8 weeks, with potential for extension based on service need.
