Working hours: This role is available on a part-time, job-share or full-time basis.

Location: We’re flexible! Your team will be mostly based in London and so regular presence in the London office will be required.

The Opportunity

Are you looking for the next step in your Actuarial career? Do you have a desire to lead our Delegated Authority (DA) Pricing team with your leadership, organizational, and communication skills? If yes, this could be your next role!

This role is within our Delegated Authority (DA) pricing team, covering Personal Lines and SME portfolios across multiple lines of business. You will lead a sub-team focusing on SME portfolios, conducting analysis to support our MGA & DA partners with their pricing and tracking business performance against financial targets.

Responsibilities
  • Pricing strategy: Develop and implement strategies for the DA pricing team in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Pricing analysis: Oversee high-quality analyses, model improvements, and pricing quality enhancement.
  • Portfolio monitoring: Create frameworks for performance tracking and profitability insights.
  • New deals: Assess and communicate the performance of new DA portfolios and ensure robust onboarding.
  • Process improvement: Lead development of efficient systems and processes.
  • People management: Manage and develop a team of actuaries.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Professionalism and culture: Demonstrate actuarial expertise and foster a positive team environment.
Qualifications
