Job Description

Our Renewables and Energy Solar team are seeking graduates within their Glasgow or Edinburgh office to join from May 2025 onwards.

About our Team

Successful candidates will be deployed to work mainly on solar projects but will also have opportunities to work on other technologies, including:

  • Onshore and offshore wind
  • Solar PV
  • Hydroelectric – run of river and pumped storage
  • Hydrogen production and storage
  • Battery energy storage systems (BESS)

Projects involve all design stages, from feasibility to detailed design and site supervision, both in the UK and internationally. Our clients range from large energy utilities to private developers.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting consultancy services on renewable energy projects, including site visits and supervision.
  • Contributing to feasibility studies for renewable projects.
  • Preparing technical reports and detailed design information.
  • Assisting in securing work with renewable energy developers and supply chains.

Qualifications
  • BEng in Electrical Engineering (MSc/MEng is an advantage)
  • Minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent
  • Interest in renewable energy
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Effective communication skills
  • Enthusiasm, teamwork, and ability to prioritize
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in renewable energy or related fields
  • Familiarity with CAD and PVSyst
  • Driving license and willingness to travel
  • Membership of a professional institution
  • Second language skills or international experience
