An established industry player is seeking a dedicated extrusion operative to join their dynamic team in Norwich. This full-time role is pivotal in both production and new product development, requiring a hands-on attitude and previous experience in food manufacturing. You will be responsible for maintaining high factory standards, supporting product development, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. We are currently recruiting for a full-time experienced extrusion operative in the Norwich area. Your role will play a key part in existing production and new product development. This will require a ‘hands-on’ attitude who will provide extrusion manufacturing support and be instrumental in the production process.

Your role will include but not be limited to supporting product development, product preparation, cleaning and maintenance of machines and the factory, which is fundamental to daily production.

What you'll bring to the role:

Hands-on attitude
Previous food manufacturing experience
Flexibility within factory working hours with potential for overtime

What you'll be up to:

Ensuring factory standards are maintained to BRCGS Food Standards
Liaising with the management team
Manufacturing products following company processes
Supporting the technical manager by providing product development support
Completing production and cleaning records

The successful candidate will be working a 37.5 hour week on a Monday to Friday basis with a 30-minute lunch break.
