We also offer personal and professional development opportunities for seafarers. Working with our staff, cadets, and volunteers, we have developed a clear vision and five-year strategy to enhance our impact and support our community.
We are currently seeking an OTW Project Assistant to support the delivery of the On The Water project at our Birmingham boating station. The role is varied and rewarding, requiring a self-motivated, inspiring, organized, creative, and enthusiastic individual with good IT skills and attention to detail.
The project runs from 29 July 2024 to 30 August 2025, with daily activities at the boat station, including registration, managing group changeovers, tracking targets, encouraging survey completion, and filling booking gaps. Before the delivery phase, the role involves supporting bookings and community outreach. Afterward, the focus shifts to evaluation, data collection, and helping participants join their local Sea Cadet unit.
