Our client, a top-tier US law firm, is seeking a 2-6 PQE Leveraged Finance Associate to join their high-performing, cohesive banking team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, cross-border financing structures for top-tier clients, including banks, debt funds and private equity sponsors. Position Overview

As a Leveraged Finance Associate, you will play a key role in advising banks, financial institutions, debt funds, alternative lenders and private equity sponsors on complex, cross-border financing structures. You will be responsible for documenting and negotiating a range of leveraged finance debt facilities, working closely with senior lawyers and partners to deliver exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on a variety of leveraged finance transactions, focusing on representing lenders and sponsors
  • Document and negotiate a range of leveraged finance debt facilities
  • Manage and coordinate the legal aspects of transactions, ensuring timely and efficient completion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, corporate and real estate departments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and objectives

Requirements

  • Engalnd & Wales qualified lawyer with 2-6 years of post-qualification experience in leveraged finance work at a top-tier law firm
  • Strong academic background
  • Proven track record in advising on complex, cross-border financing structures
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
