Job Description:

An exciting opportunity at a leading technology solutions provider has hit the market; the company is hiring for a RF/Microwave Design Engineer – Sponsorship Provided based in Lincoln.

This Lincoln based company designs and manufactures Microwave/RF components from concept to finished product.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Design and manufacture of multi-chip modules.
2. Design and manufacture of RF and microwave components and subsystems.
3. Working up to 50GHz.
4. Working with various components such as power amplifiers, mixers, and limiters.
5. Working with various subsystems such as SatCom, RF over Fiber, and FMCW radar.

Requirements:

1. Engineers to be hands-on and results-driven.
2. Work independently and as part of a team.
3. Ideally has managerial experience and knowledge of developing technical employees.
4. See projects through from quotation to production.
5. Proficient with microwave simulation and design tools such as ADS or Microwave Office.
6. Proficient with mechanical design tools such as AutoCAD or Solidworks.
7. Be familiar with chip and wire technology as well as SMT on laminate.
8. HNC/Degree in relevant subject OR extensive experience.
