About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play an important role within the team by ensuring orders are picked, packed, and ready for delivery to our customers. They champion customer service delivery through efficient coordination of warehouse stock and understand the importance of delivery timeframes. As an RDC Warehouse Operative, you will work within the Regional Distribution team supporting stock that is to be delivered to other branches.

Main Duties include:

1. Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts
2. Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner
3. Checking customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge
4. Checking stock quantities against the computer system while ensuring stock is stored in the correct bin locations

Working hours:

Average hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

• A proven track record working in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment
• Ability to work well under pressure
• A good team player
• Work efficiently with good attention to detail
• Understanding of customer service and working to deadlines
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry (desirable)
