Have you ever thought about a rewarding career in education outside the traditional classroom? Do you have the passion and enthusiasm to make a real difference in the lives of young people with learning disabilities?
No experience? No problem! We provide full training— all you need is a positive attitude, a fun, engaging personality, as well as:
The Role:
Join No Limits, where every day is an adventure! You’ll work term-time only (35 hours per week, 38 weeks per year), Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM. Plus, you'll take part in up to three weeks of training during school holidays.
This is a community-based role, delivering tailored education programs to post-16 learners with special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties. You’ll support learners in developing key life skills such as using public transport, ICT skills, cooking, independent living, and money management. You may also accompany them to work experience or college.
Every day brings new challenges and rewards as you empower young people to achieve milestones, build confidence, and grow in independence.
If you’re passionate about making a difference in a fulfilling career, we’d love to hear from you!
You may be supporting someone like Harriet. Harriet's self-confidence and independence have flourished with No Limits: Harriet has a speech impediment and social anxiety. She struggled in school and was excluded. No Limits identified her communication barriers and used technology to help her make choices, regulate emotions, and structure her day. Harriet increased her use of her communication device, gaining confidence to navigate the world and make choices, such as ordering food at a café.
No Limits built on this success and introduced techniques to further enhance Harriet’s communication. Harriet now attends college with MacIntyre, where her confidence and engagement continue to improve.
Our team builds positive relationships, breaks down barriers, and boosts learners' self-esteem. Our dedication helps learners achieve goals and excel.
We are always looking for the best individuals to contribute to our success. Maybe this could be your next chapter at MacIntyre.
Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorships as we await guidance from the Home Office. Applications requiring sponsorship cannot be considered at this time. We appreciate your understanding.
