Job description

Job Title: Data Scientist

We are seeking a Data Scientist to join M+C Saatchi World Services, a division of M+C Saatchi Group. This division collaborates with governments, civil society, foundations, academia, and the private sector to address critical global issues such as climate change, national security, social justice, conflict prevention, and sustainable development. Our work is both domestic and international, often impacting vulnerable populations and focusing on conflict-affected or developing countries.

This is a full-time position based in our London office with a hybrid work model.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be insight-driven and will:

• Develop data and technology solutions to influence knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors globally.
• Utilize multiple data sources and best practices to support client objectives.
• Implement data science, machine learning, and dynamic creative optimization techniques to enhance media, strategy, and content dissemination.
• Design and manage databases for data storage and retrieval.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement database solutions and models.
• Evaluate client operations to determine database structural needs.
• Ensure database compliance with regulations such as GDPR.
• Create reports for management, executives, and clients.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist the Data Team with research tasks and provide client support using data and technology.
• Support and report on Measures of Performance (MOP) for projects.

Reporting Line

• Reports to the Data Science Director.

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of sector-specific data and technology best practices.
• Stay informed about regional data, technology barriers, opportunities, and emerging platforms.
• Support the team proactively and act as an ambassador for M+C Saatchi World Services.
