Job description

Instrumental/Vocal Teachers and Workshop Leaders

West of England Music and Arts is a new and exciting Music Education Hub covering a large geographical area in the South West of England. We are seeking inspirational instrumental teachers for both in-school and out-of-school work to teach across the area.

Location: Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire

Contract Type: Part-Time Permanent

We are looking to expand our Team of instrumental teachers, particularly in the orchestral instruments. We are particularly interested in music educators with specialisms in:

  • Brass
  • Woodwind
  • Strings
  • Singing (including choral expertise)
  • Whole class instrumental teaching

We are also looking to expand our range of workshops and are looking for authentic offers that will excite and enthuse children and young people to get involved in music.

We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated and keen to make a difference in the musical lives of children across the area. You will be joining a team of 140 like-minded practitioners, with opportunities to develop new relationships and expand your skill base through our dedicated CPD programme and range of delivery opportunities.
