Job Purpose

• Provide business partnering support for the VP of the segment.
• Responsible for all aspects of controlling and reporting of the Divisional Commercial.
• Provide complex financial analysis to maximize profitability and cost effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the dedicated segment and sales area as a strong Business Partner.
• Assist the Director, Commercial Finance with scenario analysis, business cases, and reports.
• Monitor and analyze activities related to sales, marketing, and innovation.
• Support planning activities such as forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning in line with Divisional and Corporate directives.
• Identify, investigate, and analyze margins and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure internal system controls by adhering to divisional and group procedures.
• Challenge the commercial team effectively while maintaining support and mutual trust.

Education and Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a first degree, with a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 3-5 years in production industries is preferred, with strong skills in SAP, BW/BI, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Profile and Competencies

The candidate should be proactive, resilient, with a strong personality, and possess good influencing skills. Other key competencies include high analytical ability, goal orientation, and the ability to meet deadlines. They should have a commercial outlook, well-developed interpersonal skills, and cultural sensitivity. The role may require autonomous work, so an entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, and action-focused mindset is ideal. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is an advantage but not essential.

Location

The role's location is flexible, with travel across Europe to our Flexible and Rigid sites expected. The position lends itself to regular home working.
