Role Description

As a Business Development Consultant (BDC) for OnTheMarket (OTM), you will manage, nurture, and grow your existing client base with integrity. You will be part of a dynamic team that adopts an entrepreneurial approach to selling, training, and retaining clients across the full suite of OTM products.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop business growth by sourcing, generating, and building new business opportunities for OTM.
  2. Understand the OTM suite of products and how they support customer needs.
  3. Identify new sales leads and contact potential clients.
  4. Meet with new and existing clients in person.
  5. Negotiate business terms with clients.
  6. Collaborate with senior team members to manage risks and communicate results.
  7. Utilize excellent communication skills and product knowledge to pitch to clients.
  8. Represent OTM at industry events and network with property professionals.
Qualifications
  1. Proven sales success, preferably in online marketplaces, portals, or B2B environments.
  2. Experience in maintaining and growing client relationships with excellent service.
  3. Strong communication, presentation, and objection handling skills.
  4. Organizational skills and ability to work effectively to metrics.
  5. Degree or equivalent experience.
  6. Consultative selling and account management skills to grow accounts.
  7. Ability to navigate complex organizations to identify decision-makers and influencers.
