Blue Ventures is a marine conservation organization that supports coastal communities to rebuild fisheries, restore ocean life, and build pathways to prosperity. Our work began in Madagascar and has expanded globally, partnering with traditional fishers and community organizations across multiple countries to promote sustainable fisheries management and conservation.
The Director of Community Training and Learning will lead the development of Blue Ventures’ global training strategies, overseeing the creation of frameworks, guidance, and curriculum materials for capacity building in areas such as Community-Based Fisheries Management, Secure Rights, Food Security, and Financial Inclusion. Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, the director will manage a team of experts, ensuring the content is strategically aligned, technically robust, and reflects community experiences. This role involves developing engaging, accessible training modules for our digital platform, grounded in best practices and real-world community insights, to promote sustainable, rights-based marine resource management.
