Job summary

Qualifications

Full Time/Permanent/Altens Campus
Salary: £40,170.00 - £48,357.00 per annum

The North East Scotland College (NESCOL) is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education and we are looking for an Electrical Engineer Lecturer with a passion for teaching who is keen to pass on their knowledge and skills to our students.

The successful candidate will be qualified in Electrical Engineering to a degree level or equivalent qualification in the subject area. The individual should have an excellent working knowledge and skill set relevant to electrical engineering. A knowledge of teaching and motivating learners to succeed would also be an advantage.

If you are a highly effective team player who has the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with students and colleagues we want you to come and join our team.

Experience of teaching is not essential but you will be contracted to obtain TQFE (Teaching Qualification in Further Education) once employment has commenced if you do not already hold a relevant teaching qualification.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree, HND or equivalent qualification (SCQF Level 8) in relevant professional qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Up to date experience in Electrical Engineering

  • * Teaching qualification (TQFE or equivalent)
  • * ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)
  • * GTCS registration
