About Our Client

The client is an industry leader in the care sector, with sites throughout the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Business partnering with Regional Operations Managers, Operations Director, and Managing Director to deliver insights and analysis on the commercial performance of homes.
  • Working closely with operational managers to optimise performance, control costs, and improve profitability.
  • Providing logical data and support to improve and influence decision-making across the business.
  • Conducting variance analysis of revenue drivers and key costs, such as payroll and agency spend.
  • Producing weekly occupancy reports, including detailed commentary and analysis.
  • Creating and maintaining Management Information (MI) reports and dashboards to track performance.
  • Supporting the CFO in producing long-term rolling forecasts and budgets.
  • Producing a weekly 13-week rolling cash flow forecast model.
  • Assisting in streamlining the production of management accounts through technology and process improvements.
  • Managing the production of management accounts, coaching Accounts Payable and Credit Control Managers on processes like accruals and income reconciliations.
  • Performing regular balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
The Successful Applicant

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Newly Qualified or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
  • Excellent communicator with confidence to discuss financial data and insights with senior management, including the CEO/CFO.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, SUMIFs, VLOOKUPs).
  • Experience in a multi-site environment, preferably within the hospitality or care sector.
  • Experience with Power BI is desirable.
