Job Description:

We are seeking a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Whitchurch. The role involves supporting a child on a one-to-one basis, focusing on behaviour support for a student with challenging behaviour. The position is full-time, on a 3-year contract, starting ASAP.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEMH and challenging behaviours, and preferably have worked with non-verbal ASD and/or high-functioning SEN students. Qualifications required include a minimum Level 3 qualification or a degree, with strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSEs in Maths and English at C or above).

Key responsibilities include providing behaviour support, assisting the child's learning and development, and working closely with teaching staff to create a supportive environment.
