A leading educational institution is seeking a part-time teacher to deliver quality education at St Johns RC High School. The ideal candidate will be GTCS registered and possess a strong understanding of the curriculum, alongside excellent communication skills and a commitment to student welfare.
Based at St Johns RC High School, you will work part time, 21 hours per week.

You will be GTCS Registered (Secondary), with a knowledge of the relevant curriculum area and an awareness of the main current issues in Scottish education.
You will also be required to apply for RC Church approval at the same time as submitting your application form.

You will deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute, within the collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school.
You will demonstrate application and knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and evidence of appropriate professional learning in a range of areas. In addition, you will have a positive and caring approach and a commitment to young people, possess good communication/interpersonal skills, and relate well to others.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment by Dundee City Council.
