Qualifications

MEICA Site Manager - Mogden Sewage Treatment Works

We're looking for a MEICA Site Agent / Manager to join our clients team delivering essential upgrades at one of the largest wastewater treatment works in the UK - Mogden.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile infrastructure project, leading on-site MEICA activities, ensuring safety, quality, and progress across multidisciplinary teams.

Role Summary:

Lead and manage MEICA aspects of construction projects, ensuring delivery to time, cost, safety, and quality standards. Work closely with project stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes and support installation, commissioning, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee site delivery of MEICA works within civil and water sector projects
  • Lead site teams, providing direction on MEICA installation and commissioning
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RAMS, ITPs, commissioning plans, and O&M records
  • Support design compliance, procurement scheduling, and site testing
  • Maximise commercial performance through cost control, planning, and reporting
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and successful handover
  • Produce accurate reports and forecasts; chair weekly site meetings

Key Requirements:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in MEICA & civil engineering, preferably in regulated environments
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations, risk management, cost control, and programme management
  • Level 3 Electrical Installations (BS7671 18th edition) and relevant MEICA qualifications
  • HNC/Degree in Engineering or equivalent; strong leadership and organisational skills
  • CSCS Card, IOSH/SMSTS, Temporary Works Coordinator

Desirable:

  • CEng MICE or equivalent
  • Experience in utilities (Water/Wastewater), WIMES standards, and NEC/JCT contracts
  • 2391/52 inspection & testing qualifications
  • Confined space and water hygiene certification
