Quantity Surveyor (QS) - Permanent Role - Middlesborough, Teesside

Our client, a groundworks subcontractor operating throughout the Northwest, is looking for a QS to join their commercial team based in Middlesborough.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Ensuring all applications are submitted in line with the contractual terms.
2. Ensuring sub-contractor payments are made on time.
3. Assisting the commercial team.
4. Monitoring all applications submitted and ensuring any works rejected are tracked and reissued when appropriate.
5. Pricing all jobs by their appropriate revenue code to ensure that they are billed correctly.
6. Producing and agreeing on a monthly application.
7. Monitoring and managing costs to ensure profitability is maintained.

Requirements:

1. Degree qualified.
2. Groundworks experience.
3. Experience surveying, pricing, and validating subcontractor quotations.
4. Experience measuring works, generating, and agreeing applications.
5. Negotiation skills.
