The Role

Sonnedix is looking for a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst, reporting directly to the Financial Analysis Manager. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the quarterly group valuation process and driving improvements in our tools, modelling, and outputs. The role involves generating and analysing short and long-term business forecasts under various growth scenarios to support strategic decisions and effectively communicate analysis insights. The Senior Financial Analyst will support process and reporting improvements to deliver key information to our leadership team, investors, and other internal stakeholders.

This role involves short-term group valuation and returns forecasting, with a focus on continuously improving the valuation model by integrating new data to enhance forecasting accuracy. The Senior Analyst will support the consolidation and execution of the quarterly group valuation process and assist the Head of Strategic Finance and the Financial Analysis Manager in preparing Board Papers as well as providing support for both standard quarterly and ad-hoc reporting to our investors.

Desirable skills

  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field and CFA preferable
  • Highly proficient in financial modelling and scenario analysis
  • Strong understanding of different valuation methods, especially DCF, and experience in modelling of project finance debt facilities
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages such as Spanish, Italian, or French are a plus
