Job Opportunity: Sexual Health Outreach Co-Ordinator

Are you looking for a new challenge?

Are you an experienced manager with outreach experience and an interest in sexual health?

iCaSH Cambridgeshire is seeking a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Sexual Health Outreach Co-Ordinator. Please indicate any flexible working proposals in your application for discussion during the interview process.

This role involves operational management of the sexual health promotion and HIV prevention services targeted at vulnerable communities and high-risk groups in Cambridgeshire. Responsibilities include ensuring delivery of sexual health prevention, Chlamydia screening, HIV point of care testing (POCT), and condom distribution.

Hours are flexible and may include evenings and weekends. Note: We reserve the right to close this vacancy at any time after 26th May 2025 if we receive a high volume of applications.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Providing line manager responsibility, supervision, and operational management to outreach staff teams in Cambridgeshire.
2. Planning, coordinating, and delivering Chlamydia screening, including dual testing and results management, for young people aged 15-24 across the counties.
3. Ensuring effective planning, coordination, and delivery of targeted HIV POCT services, supporting local agencies with training and resources.
4. Training outreach workers to manage an HIV positive diagnosis following a POCT.
5. Planning, coordinating, and delivering condom distribution services targeted at young people and high-risk groups.
6. Coordinating with GPs and pharmacies to ensure kits, training, and supplies are up to date.
7. Developing and delivering innovative health promotion interventions tailored to local needs.
8. Engaging with high-risk, vulnerable, and underrepresented groups through collaboration with the co-production team.
9. Networking and building relationships with community organizations to encourage participation in outreach schemes.
