About Us

Gr4vy (pronounced Gravy) is a "no-code" cloud payments orchestration platform. Our mission is to become the platform of choice for retailers worldwide to deploy payment infrastructure. Founded by former PayPal fintech leaders, Gr4vy aims to disrupt the $4 trillion global retail payment market by simplifying merchants' payment infrastructure management.

About The Role

Software Engineers at Gr4vy collaborate across product, engineering, design, and other stakeholders. We operate in short two-week sprints, regularly sharing, reflecting, and iterating on our work.

Our platform primarily uses Python with the FastAPI framework, along with React and TypeScript for the frontend. We employ unit, integration, and acceptance tests to guide our design and ensure functionality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Contribute actively to team projects and adhere to best coding practices.
2. Be open to learning new backend design patterns.
3. Influence tasks within your immediate team.
4. Collaborate with the product manager to understand tasks.
5. Work with senior engineers to better understand problems and solutions.
