Job description

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established supplier of various types of industrial solutions, including loading bay solutions and industrial doors, seeking a new Business Development Manager. This role offers a competitive package, including a strong basic salary, uncapped commission potential, and other company benefits. It is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional interested in working within a niche sector.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage an existing client base across the Basingstoke, Reading, Slough, High Wycombe, Windsor, and Epsom postcodes.
  2. Develop this client base further across the region by selling industrial solutions such as industrial doors, safety barriers, loading bay locks, and docking solutions.
  3. Identify new sales opportunities for these products.
  4. Visit customer sites to conduct detailed site surveys with a solution-based approach.
  5. Provide technical knowledge and support to customers.
Requirements

The company prefers candidates with a solution-focused background from the MHE, capital equipment, or racking & storage industries. However, they are open to candidates from other sectors related to industrial doors or docking equipment, or those from a different technical sales background seeking a change. The ideal candidate is dynamic, with the drive and ability to manage existing accounts and develop new ones. Ideally, candidates will reside near the M25/M4 corridor, though those further afield may also be considered.
