Vacancy

Wates has an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team within the Planned Works division. You will be covering the Yorkshire area, working on high-rise buildings. The primary focus of this role is to provide visible leadership and direction, with foresight and insight, to ensure the safe and profitable delivery of schemes for Wates.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Develop and implement detailed programmes and schedules for accurate monitoring and reporting of progress.
  2. Identify quality expectations and incorporate them into the Quality Plan.
  3. Implement all statutory, regulatory, and company requirements for managing Health and Safety.
  4. Secure and manage the resources necessary to deliver the project effectively and efficiently, ensuring successful delivery within project constraints.
  5. Ensure a smooth handover of the project, including support to the customer/end user during the process.
  6. Establish a communications plan and define accountabilities for team members.

Ideally, candidates will have experience working for a main contractor on similar projects, with knowledge of elevational treatment, EWI decorative panelling, and replacement windows.
