RPS is seeking Graduate Wastewater Modellers and Engineers to join their Water Consultancy business in Sheffield. Job description

RPS continues to grow, and we are now looking to reinforce our Water Consultancy business across our Sheffield, Derby, Newcastle, and Edinburgh offices, with Graduate Wastewater Modellers and Engineers.

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to develop and progress in an environment where your efforts and talent are recognized. We are considering start dates throughout 2025.

The Graduate roles available in the strategy team will combine office and home-based work alongside industry professionals, with opportunities to conduct site work for data collection where required.

Responsibilities:

  • Data handling and analysis of large datasets
  • Statistical analysis of data
  • Preparation of factual and interpretative reports
  • Construction and maintenance of statistical models
  • Client and stakeholder engagement and management
  • Contributing to the development, maintenance, and documentation of bespoke software tools and applications
  • Using GIS software such as QGIS and ArcGIS

About You:

  • A degree in Civil, Mechanical, Geography, Electrical, or Aeronautical Engineering
  • Modules covering wastewater, hydraulics, GIS are desirable but not essential
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in written English
  • Ability to work collaboratively to solve meaningful problems
  • Computing skills, including experience with Excel
