An amazing specialist school in the heart of Maidenhead is on the hunt for a Mental Health Support Assistant to join their team starting ASAP.
- An amazing specialist school, highly regarded in their area
- Cater for children who have been diagnosed with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)
- They focus on helping these children access their education in the same way as their mainstream peers
- Each child has an individualised plan and curriculum
- They facilitate and focus on providing specialist education, where educators and the multi-disciplinary team provide personalised and specific interventions to support learning
- This school offers a supportive environment where you will be making a difference day in and day out
- Not only will you be taking part in really rewarding work, but you will also be adding valuable experience to your CV
- You will be facilitating and providing specific interventions to aid in the children’s learning
- You will facilitate a safe and secure environment for learning to take place
- You will encourage students to achieve the best they can academically, while also adding to their personal growth
- You will keep track of their academic achievements
- Have a good understanding of the importance of safeguarding
- Being kind, caring and compassionate
