Job Summary
Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, this position requires someone with a proven track record in leading large Civil Engineering schemes. The ideal candidate will have come from a main contracting background and will have had extensive experience within Heavy Civils environment across a number of sectors.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for detailed cost control and recovery of value on the project, either by themselves or by effective management of staff resources. The successful candidate will have experience with a number of Contracts but predominantly with the use of NEC 3 and 4 Main Options A, B & C.
These skills along with effective and correct subcontractor management and maintaining an ongoing client interface relationship are all key requirements of this role. Experience in compilation of delay analysis and associated loss and expense claims is highly preferable.
