Job Description:

Join our Payments & Commerce Solutions Business Management Team as a Vice President, where you will have the opportunity to develop and manage key Merchant Acquiring initiatives.

As a Business Manager (BM) for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa Payments & Commerce Solutions (P&CS) business, you will optimize business performance by helping drive key initiatives. BMs act as trusted advisors and counterweights to business leaders, responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks. We play a core role in interpreting and presenting financial information to the P&CS business. In this role, you will work with business leads responsible for the Merchant Acquiring business, helping them understand their financial performance and drivers, and advising on strategic and tactical execution.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the F&BM VP in the delivery of business and finance management strategy development, financial analysis, and business management support to the EMEA Merchant Services Leadership.
  • Lead the production of monthly/quarterly financial and performance reviews, including actuals versus plan and variance analysis.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process for both Line of Business and local Legal entities.
  • Coordinate reconciliation of various reporting systems across finance and merchant services to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Partner with the business to develop key performance metrics linked to transformation efforts and communicate benefits effectively.
  • Assist in developing business plans, SIFs, and NBIA’s, ensuring validation of benefits.
  • Collaborate with the US development team to ensure accurate reporting of tech spend and business outcomes.
  • Support audit, regulatory, and compliance deliverables; help drive action plans within the RCSA framework.
  • Coordinate merchant services team activities and prepare materials for town halls, reviews, and employee recognition.
  • Manage Objective Key Results setting and monitor monthly progress.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
  • Qualified Accountant with FP&A experience in a complex organization.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, and local legal entity reporting requirements.
  • Experience in the Merchant Acquiring/Card Payments space.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Flexible working style, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
