Clinical Unit Manager

Salary Up to £49,838 per annum, Depending on experience.

42 hours per week, 6 hours will be supernumerary.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

  • Taking charge of a unit or a floor, promoting our residents’ independence, choice, and dignity by ensuring that the team provides the highest standards of care at all times.
  • Assessing each resident’s wellbeing with your team, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met while maintaining accurate records.
  • Delivering clinical guidance to your team, leading by example; motivating and mentoring the team to ensure the safe, smooth, and efficient running of the care home.
  • Building lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community.
  • Creating and developing strong relationships with local partners, liaising with them to raise the care home’s profile in the local area and beyond.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

  • A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and expanding your professional development.
  • Passionate about caring for the elderly and helping people maintain their independence, choice, and dignity.
  • An effective communicator who can build strong and honest relationships with residents and their families.
  • Ready to use clinical experience to lead, motivate, and mentor a team, able to delegate effectively and promote excellent customer service and relationships.
  • A respectful and compassionate team player who believes in giving your personal best.
