An established industry player is seeking a compassionate Personal Assistant to provide vital support to a young adult in Bristol. This rewarding role involves assisting with community access, meal preparation, and adapting to the unique needs of the employer. Personal Assistant required – 4.5 hours per week at £11.88ph - Bristol - BS32
Required for adult in their 20s who would like support to access the community and in their own home.
This role will be up to 4.5 hours per week.
Hourly rate: £11.88 per hour
Available to work afternoons with hours and days to be agreed for the right candidate. Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoons would be preferable.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of neurodivergence as well as being respectful of and valuing queer and non-binary identity. They will have an understanding that the employer's conditions can fluctuate meaning that how they are feeling will differ on a day-to-day basis and the PA will need to have the flexibility to adapt to this to meet the employer's needs at that time. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn about the employer's conditions and how they affect them. The PA will ideally be first aid trained or have a willingness to undertake training for this.
A car owner is necessary for this role and the applicant will require a full, clean driving licence. The applicant will need to have business insurance as they will be driving the client to places. The PA will need access to a car that can transport an electric wheelchair (weighing approx 25kg). The wheelchair can fold up and a hoist can be used to assist lifting the wheelchair into the car, if necessary.
This role will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
