We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Multi-Site Maintenance Assistant for our Edinburgh properties.
This is a multi-site role for Heeton Concept Aparthotel Queen Street Edinburgh and Heeton Concept Aparthotel Stewart Edinburgh, which are located less than a five-minute walk apart.
Keeping our hotels running smoothly is vital to our guests' experience. As Maintenance Assistant, you'll keep everything looking sharp and running like clockwork, from simple repairs to forward-thinking for the next day. With high standards to support our own, you'll approach every task with devotion and pride.
Your day-to-day
- Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish items in guest rooms. Keeping up with these tasks will keep our hotels looking great and functioning well.
- Organise supplies and ensure equipment is ready for the next day.
- Follow high safety standards, adhere to guidelines, and report any incidents, dangerous conditions, or unsafe equipment to your supervisor.
- Take responsibility for the safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel, such as the car park and pool.
- Look for improvements, follow the preventative maintenance calendar, and keep everything working efficiently at all times.
- Be a friendly face and helpful to our guests.
- Keep your supervisor or duty manager informed and report any low supplies.
- Maintain a professional appearance in your uniform.
- Be prepared to take on additional duties as needed by the team.
What we need from you
- Experience in a maintenance role.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and maintenance reporting systems.
- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrics, building equipment, and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Compliance with health and safety laws.
- Fluent English speaking skills.
