Eddie Stobart are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team in Bellshill (ML4 3NH).

The role is based on a Morrisons site in Bellshill and will involve Store deliveries and general haulage using a variety of Morrisons and ESL kit. This role may include manual handling. There is also an opportunity to be trained on the Rail side (Containers).

Shifts available:

• Tuesday-Saturday - 11:00am-13:00pm start window or 22:00pm-02:00am start window.
• Wednesday-Sunday - 11:00am-13:00pm start window or 22:00pm-02:00am start window.
• Sunday-Thursday - 22:00pm-02:00am start window.

Salary:

From £38,144 per annum depending on shift pattern and start time.

• Mon-Fri Days - £13.50 per hour (including Meal allowance)
• Mon-Fri Night Shift - £14.90 per hour (including Meal allowance)
• Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £17.00 per hour (including Meal allowance)
• Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £17.50 per hour (including Meal allowance)
• Bank Holidays - £17.81 per hour (including Meal allowance)

Qualifications:

• 1 year Class 1 experience.
• You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card.
• No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/ DR Code convictions.
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.
