Overview

Optics Warehouse is the UK’s leading supplier of rifle scopes and shooting optics. We’re looking for a Web Content Specialist to join our team in Torquay and help us improve the quality and performance of our e-commerce product listings. The company is growing rapidly, with plenty of opportunity for progress and development as we expand the business further.

This role is ideal for someone who understands how e-commerce websites work and is looking to develop their skills in online content, SEO, AI tools and digital product presentation.

Responsibilities

• Write clear and engaging productdescriptionstailored to our target audience
• Upload and managehigh-quality product and lifestyle images
• Highlight keyfeaturesand include accuratetechnical specifications
• Create and maintainFAQsfor each product
• Add and embed relevantproduct and review videos
• Set up “Shoppers also bought” recommendations to encourage upselling
• Collaborate with the sales team to includeexpert overviews and reviews
• Support the creation ofAI-generated product review videos
• Build newproduct listingsfor new product lines
• Regularly maintain and improve existing listings, including:
• Updating descriptions and formatting
• Rewriting for clarity and SEO
• Fixing broken image links and incorrect galleries

What We’re Looking For

• Some understanding of e-commerce websites and how they function
• Strong written English and attention to detail
• Interest in SEO, product content, and online retail
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Comfortable using website content management systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team

What We’d Love to See

• Previous experience withe-commerce product listings
• Understanding ofSEO best practicesfor product content
• Familiarity with Magento 2 and Shopify platforms
• Experience with eBay and Amazon seller tools is a strong advantage
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently

What We Offer

• £25,000 annual salary
• Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (office-based in Torquay)
