Salary: £36,000 per annum pro-rata + 5% discretionary annual bonus

Contract Type: Permanent, Part-time (30 hours per week)

Job Description

As HR Advisor, you will work closely with senior HR colleagues and operational teams to deliver proactive, high-quality human resources support across a broad portfolio. This includes advising on employee relations matters, driving engagement and wellbeing initiatives, and supporting strategic workforce planning. Your role will also involve the coordination of learning and development activity, digital HR system enhancements, and supporting medical staffing functions including appraisal frameworks for practitioners.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Employee Engagement & Inclusion: Championing a culture of inclusivity, equity and engagement across the organisation.
  • Employee Relations: Providing consistent and expert HR advice on casework, policies, and employment legislation.
  • Systems & Digital Projects: Supporting the implementation and optimisation of HRIS and other digital transformation initiatives.
  • Learning & Development: Assisting in the delivery and coordination of staff training, development plans, and talent initiatives.
  • Medical Staffing Support: Supporting appraisal processes and compliance for medical practitioners in line with regulatory frameworks.
  • Occupational Health & Wellbeing: Collaborating on health promotion and workplace wellbeing strategies.
  • Policy & Compliance: Contributing to the review, development, and implementation of HR policies in line with employment law and organisational goals.
  • Strategic HR Projects: Playing an active role in cross-functional project work aimed at enhancing organisational performance.
  • Workforce Planning: Assisting with data-driven planning and monitoring of staffing structures and KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Solid generalist HR experience, ideally within a complex or regulated environment.
  • Proven ability to manage casework and provide professional HR guidance.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employment law and best practice.
  • Additional HR-related qualifications or working towards CIPD Level 7.
  • Previous experience within the healthcare sector, either NHS or private.
  • Familiarity with medical staffing processes and digital HR platforms.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
