We are recruiting for an experienced Business Finance Analyst for our client - a leading manufacturer in their field, in the Bridgend area. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting sales, planning and month-end accounting tasks, analyzing financial data, and creating insightful reporting dashboards to drive operational and financial decision-making. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support and streamline month-end accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial closing processes.
  2. Analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  3. Develop interactive and visually engaging dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business insights.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and sales, to gather data and communicate findings effectively.
  5. Document and communicate process improvements for accounting and financial reporting workflows.
  6. Assist with reporting and analysis requests to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.

You will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and proven experience; proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools; experience working with ERP systems; advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, macros).
