PMO Analyst - Finance & Workforce Management

Location: Knutsford, Radbroke

Length: 6 months

PAYE only

Overall purpose of the role:

We're seeking a highly capable PMO Analyst with a strong background in financial and workforce management to support our execution and oversight functions. Based within our BUK Portfolio Team, you will play a key role in ensuring financial clarity and workforce alignment across delivery labs, guaranteeing the right investments, personnel, and plans are in place to execute a complex backlog of work. This role requires expertise in portfolio-level financial and workforce oversight, ideally within a banking or large financial services environment.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Work closely with Labs and Finance Business Partners (FBPs) to manage and communicate financial positions across portfolios.
  2. Support investment and workforce planning, ensuring alignment between spending forecasts, change initiatives, and delivery capability.
  3. Monitor and manage costs of change from a Strategic Investment (SI) perspective.
  4. Oversee financials for ongoing and forecasted delivery activities, providing insights and challenge where necessary.
  5. Collaborate daily with teams including delivery labs and the Puna working team to maintain accurate financial and workforce metrics.
  6. Utilize tools such as Navigator, JIRA, and Excel to track and report on change delivery progress.
Key Skills:
  • Experience in financial management and workforce planning within banking or financial services.
  • Understanding of Agile delivery methods and experience working within Agile organizations.
  • Experience working across multiple business units, not limited to isolated projects.
  • Proven ability to manage portfolio-level financials and workforce plans.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Excel, and preferably Navigator.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with both delivery and finance stakeholders.
