Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00
Band: 5–7
Pay: £15 - £23 dependant on experience / seniority
Our client, a leading private healthcare organisation, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Secretary to join their team on an interim basis. This role requires a dedicated professional with cardiology experience, strong administrative abilities, and proficiency in key medical systems. The position offers the possibility of becoming permanent, subject to service requirements.
Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to the cardiology department.
Manage patient records and correspondence using DGL and Meditech systems.
Coordinate appointments, referrals, and medical documentation accurately and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with consultants, medical professionals, and patients.
Handle confidential patient information with discretion and professionalism.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organisational procedures.
Previous experience as a Medical Secretary, preferably in cardiology.
Proficiency in DGL and Meditech systems.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Candidates should confirm if they have any planned leave during the contract period.
The role is on-site and requires full-time availability.
