An exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Head Teacher to join our clients' school in Tipton, Wolverhampton.

Join our client in shaping the future of education and making a difference in the lives of children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs. Together, you will create a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where every student can thrive.

The role will be based at their independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for boys and girls. Located in Tipton, the school caters to pupils aged 11-19 with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The successful applicant will need:

  • Extensive experience as a Head Teacher in a similar SEND environment or setting.
  • A good understanding of the School Improvement process, effective curriculum models, and development of processes to help the school achieve an outstanding rating.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Independent School Standards.
  • Ability to motivate, support, and develop staff and pupils using a person-centred approach.
  • A proactive 'can do, will do' attitude with a desire to succeed and improve the school.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
