Position Summary

Responsible for proactively soliciting and managing large group/catering opportunities with significant revenue potential. Manages group/catering opportunities not handled by an Event Booking Centre (EBC). Actively upsells each business opportunity to maximize revenue. Achieves personal and team revenue goals. Ensures proper turnover of business for quality service delivery. Drives customer/guest loyalty through service excellence and account growth.

Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in sales, marketing, guest services, or related areas.
  • OR 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field; no experience required.

Core Work Activities

Understanding Market Opportunities & Driving Revenue
  • Target group/catering accounts with proactive solicitation.
  • Partner with group/catering teams to manage opportunities.
  • Respond to incoming opportunities outside of EBC parameters.
