Exciting Opportunity for Hospitality and Catering Teacher – Starting Now or September 2025

Are you passionate about teaching Hospitality and Catering and dedicated to providing exceptional learning experiences in the classroom? Protocol Education is offering an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic school that’s committed to academic excellence, student development, and inclusion.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher to join a thriving department. The role is initially offered as temporary cover, with the potential for permanency for the right candidate following a successful period with the agency.

This is a large, multicultural secondary school with a strong reputation for high-quality teaching and inclusive values. The Food Technology department is well-equipped with specialist kitchens and modern facilities designed to support practical, hands-on learning.

About The Role:

As a Hospitality and Catering Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Food and Nutrition at KS3, Hospitality and Catering at KS4, and Level 3 Food Science and Nutrition at Sixth Form.
  • Contribute to a forward-thinking, supportive department with strong teaching practices and high student engagement.
  • Be part of a well-resourced faculty where professional development is actively encouraged and supported.
  • Support students in achieving strong outcomes, while fostering creativity, independence, and practical life skills.
  • Have the potential opportunity to teach KS3 and KS4 Textiles and/or Design & Technology, if you bring experience in those areas.
  • Is a qualified teacher with expertise in Hospitality, Catering, or Food Technology.
  • Has a genuine passion for the subject and a commitment to helping students develop practical, career-ready skills.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and clear communication.
  • Is adaptable, proactive, and excited to contribute to a thriving learning community.
