Job Summary for Head of Operations:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Head of Operations to lead and oversee all operational activities within a growing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing multi-utility operations, with a proven track record of optimising processes, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and improving customer satisfaction across a variety of sectors. Key Responsibilities for Head of Operations:

1. Oversee and manage all day-to-day operations within the multi-utility sector, ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure projects and services to the residential, commercial, industrial, and renewable clients.
2. Work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement operational strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and business objectives.
3. Lead large-scale utility projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality and safety standards. Manage risk and troubleshoot any issues that arise during project delivery.
4. Continuously assess and improve operational processes, implementing best practices to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
5. Build, lead, and inspire a high-performance operations team, focusing on developing talent and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
6. Ensure that all operations comply with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees and clients.
7. Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering tailored multi-utility solutions that meet their needs.
8. Oversee operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-effective measures while maintaining quality and service standards.
9. Provide regular updates to the senior leadership team and stakeholders, highlighting key operational metrics, challenges, and successes.

Key Skills and Competencies for Head of Operations:

1. Minimum of 5-10 years in senior operations management roles within the utility, construction, or infrastructure sectors, with a focus on multi-utility services (electricity, gas, water, telecom).
2. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive performance improvements, and deliver high-quality operational results.
3. Strong background in overseeing large-scale, complex projects from initiation through to successful completion.
4. A track record of identifying and implementing process improvements to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance client satisfaction.
5. In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and health and safety practices.
6. Experience managing operational budgets, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement cost-saving measures.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
8. Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and resolve operational challenges with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
