Job summary

Grantley Hall is seeking an experienced Wedding & Events Executive to join their Sales & Marketing team. This role involves handling client enquiries, managing event details, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Key Responsibilities

We are proudly recruiting for an experienced Wedding & Events Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team at Grantley Hall. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Events professional looking to advance their career in a 5-star property setting. You’ll be part of our sales team building essential relationships with clients and the Grantley Hall team.

  • Ensure consistent outstanding enquiry handling processes are implemented with every call, email, online enquiry, and walk-in
  • Maintain a good reactive and proactive sales approach to enquiries, ensuring no sales opportunities are missed
  • Manage all pre and post event communications effectively
  • Use booking systems diligently for each enquiry, recording all event details and revenue agreements
  • Take responsibility for all booking details, ensuring they are up to date and properly handed over to operational departments; create detailed functions sheets to support smooth event execution
  • Assist with the completion of event enquiries and client emails in the general Events inbox to ensure timely responses
  • Conduct quality showrounds with guests to secure business and foster excellent rapport
  • Identify upselling opportunities and proactively increase revenue across the business
  • Collaborate with sales and operational teams to deliver exceptional service throughout the event booking process

About You

  • Experience in Events Sales & Coordination within a hotel or venue is ESSENTIAL
  • Strong attention to detail, sales, and communication skills
  • Confident, self-motivated, and professional in all circumstances
  • Customer service-focused with a track record of high service standards
  • Knowledge of conference and event sales techniques is advantageous
  • Flexible approach to work given the startup nature of the business
