Contract Delivery / Project Manager - Public Sector - £435pd - CONTRACT

Location: UK-based (1 day a month travel to local office)

Duration: 6 months

Security Clearance: Active SC clearance required

We’re looking for an experienced Delivery / Project Manager to support the delivery of complex digital services within the public sector. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage product development and can build, guide, and lead agile teams through Discovery and Alpha phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead delivery across the full product lifecycle, with a focus on Discovery and Alpha
• Work closely with Product Managers to create and maintain realistic, outcome-focused delivery plans
• Build and support self-managing agile teams, acting as a servant-leader and fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement
• Identify and remove delivery blockers, ensuring teams remain focused and productive
• Implement effective reporting and governance to ensure transparency and alignment within the broader programme structure

You’ll Need:

• Strong track record in delivering complex products and services in agile environments
• Experience in early-stage project phases (Discovery/Alpha)
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and programme leadership
• Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
• Public sector or highly regulated industry experience is a plus
