Job Description

PrimeVigilance is seeking a Medical Information Associate responsible for supporting the Medical Information team in handling initial adverse event and medical information inquiries in English & French.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide approved responses to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and pharmaceutical clients, including call handling.
  2. Identify, document, and report adverse events, side effects, pregnancy, and other special situations, as well as product quality complaints within required timeframes.
  3. Track and fully document all medical information inquiries within the Medical Information database accurately.
  4. Participate in out-of-hours medical information provision for clients with a 24/7 enquiry service.
  5. Provide management with regular updates on project status and enquiry metrics.
  6. Assist in departmental regulatory inspection preparedness and participate in PV inspections or audits.
Qualifications
  1. Life science or biomedical background – healthcare-related degree (chemistry, biology, biotechnology, pharmacy, nursing).
  2. Customer service or call centre experience preferred.
  3. Comfortable handling inquiries by phone.
  4. Ability to perform out-of-hours service if required.
  5. Good time and issue management, organization, multitasking, and attention to detail.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Advanced English and French skills, both verbal and written.
