The KPMG Major Projects Advisory Team, within Infrastructure Advisory Group and part of Deal Advisory, supports clients in strategic decision-making related to major projects, including strategy, integration, separation, value creation, and mergers and acquisitions.

Role overview:

We focus on providing clarity to Boards, Executives, and SROs at major organizations on project delivery. Our work spans various infrastructure sectors, including natural resources, energy, transport, healthcare, and education. Our team comprises specialists with extensive construction industry experience, from project owners to contractors and consultants, both in the UK and abroad. We are expanding rapidly and are investing in our team.

Key responsibilities:

You will have experience in construction or infrastructure projects, which may include roles in accounting, audit, commercial management, quantity surveying, project controls, civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or assurance roles within clients or public sectors. Experience should include:

  • Understanding of cost drivers in construction projects
  • Knowledge of factors affecting project performance
  • Client or stakeholder engagement experience
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing assurance documents
  • Ability to operate in political and confidential environments
  • Managing junior colleagues
  • Quick assessment of new situations and data
