Job description

Maths and English Tutor (Full or Part Time)

Location: Darlington

Salary: £25 - £30 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Start Date: September 2025

The School and Role

A Local Council EHC Team is seeking a Maths and English Tutor to teach students with EHCPs who are unable to attend mainstream education. The tutor will work 1:1 with students with special educational needs and disabilities, providing consistent support in Darlington and surrounding areas. Sessions typically last 1-2 hours per day, scheduled during or after school hours based on student needs.

Requirements
  • A recognised teaching qualification
